Subsidy fund enough until 2019

Bisnis Indonesia, 28 November 2018

Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) Fund Distribution Director Edi Wibowo told “Bisnis” on Tuesday (November 27) that the agency had collected Rp11.7 trillion export duty and distributed Rp5.4 trillion for biodiesel subsidy as of Q3 2018. The government still has adequate amount of fund to run the mandatory 20% biodiesel blend (B20) program, which would absorb 70% of the subsidy fund, he said. Meanwhile, the rest of the fund would be allocated to other sectors such as reserves, oil palm plantation replanting program, and human resources development.
