The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is for the first time, opening the opportunity for its members and stakeholders to suggest inputs for the program of its Annual Roundtable Conference on Sustainable Palm Oil (RT2020.)
“The RT2020 Content Curator is an online submission process that gives you – our members and stakeholders – the chance to have your say on the RT2020 conference event program,” RSPO said in an email notification. The RSPO is inviting submissions for ideas around the topic of this year’s conference theme, “RT2020: A Resilient and Sustainable Palm Oil Supply Chain” and welcomed submissions for presentations, panel discussions, fireside chats, experience sharing and video recordings.
To adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic the RSPO secretariat has announced that the RT2020 will be hosted virtually for three days, on November 9-11, 2020.
Opening up the program curation to members and stakeholders, the RSPO secretariat has said, would provide an opportunity to share fresh ideas, content and voices as the conference moves to a virtual format, while ensuring that the latest topics on sustainable palm oil are discussed.
The closing date for the submission is set at October 12, 2020.
RSPO is a global, multi-stakeholder initiative on sustainable palm oil that has the most widely recognized sustainable palm oil certification.
Its membership comes from many different backgrounds, including plantation companies, processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers and retailers of palm oil products, financial institutions, environmental and social NGOs from many countries that produce or use palm oil.
