The benchmark crude palm oil contract for June delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell 0.23% to 2,167 ringgit per metric ton on March 22. However, the average price last week rose 2.60%. According to data compiled by Cargo Surveyor SGS Malaysia, the country managed to record 50% increase in crude palm oil exports (CPO) to China between March 1-20. In addition, Europe also recorded 20% increase in CPO imports in March.
