The expansion of mandatory 20% biodiesel blend (B20) program to non-public service obligation (PSO) vehicles is getting more effective. According to the data compiled by Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), biodiesel absorption had reached 400,000 metric tons in September and 519,000 metric tons in October since the government decided to expand B20 implementation. GAPKI Executive Director Mukti Sardjono said in a written statement received by “KONTAN” on Friday (November 30) that he expected biodiesel consumption to be more effective in the future.
