Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang’s visit to Indonesia has created new trade agreement between the two countries, particularly in palm oil trade. Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said on Monday (May 7) that Li Keqiang agreed to increase CPO import from Indonesia to at least 500,000 tonnes per year. This agreement is expected to lower trade deficit in Indonesia-China trade that reached $12.72 billion in 2017.
