Indonesia will enter biodiesel market in Europe again after the World Trade Organization (WTO) rejected the European Union’s (EU) anti-dumping policy on Indonesian biodiesel. Indonesian Biofuels Producer Association (Aprobi) Chairman Paulus Tjakrawan expected Indonesia’s biodiesel export to Europe will reach 500,000 KL by the end of 2018. This target is still lower than biodiesel export to Europe in 2014 that reached 1.8 million KL. This year several producers have sent product samples to a few European countries, Paulus told “KONTAN” on Monday (May 7).
