Hotspots in West Kalimantan continued to appear in the last few days. The West Kalimantan Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) and Manggala Agni team focused on preventing the fires from spreading. According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in Supadio Airport, Pontianak, the number of hotspots has increased from eight at the beginning of the week to 19 on Friday (July 13) morning. Pontianak Manggala Agni Head Sahat Irawan Manik said on Friday (July 13) that the fires occurred in Sintang, Ketapang, Landak, and Pontianak.
