Indonesian Vegetable Oil Refiners Association (GIMNI) is investigating into indications of dumping of European vegetable oil. The indication was seen in the sales growth of rapeseed oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and corn oil that reached 14% annually since 2014. Meanwhile, palm oil sales growth only reached 9% annually. In terms of price, Europe’s vegetable oil is more expensive by around $130 per tonne compared to Indonesia’s vegetable oil price in the global market, GIMNI Chairman Sahat Sinaga told “KONTAN” on Wednesday (May 5).
