Demand for oleochemicals to rise by 20%

The Indonesian Oleochemical Manufacturer Association (Apolin) estimated the value and the volume of oleochemical exports to rise by 20% and 12% respectively next year, Apolin Chair Rapolo Hutabarat said on Wednesday (November 14). He said that additional investment in the oleochemical sector and new factory opening next year will spur the industry. In addition, the growth of global lifestyle, health, and construction industry will also prompt an increase in demand for oleochemicals.
