Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) Commission is verifying 70 audit reports (LHA) from certification institutes. Of those 70, as many as 30 LHA have passed the verification phase and will receive ISPO certificates. However, ISPO Commission Secretariat Chair Azis Hidayat was still unable to predict how many certificates the commission will issue in early December. He said on Friday (November 2) that the commission aimed to issue 450 certificates in total. However, export markets especially Europe prefer Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certificate rather than ISPO.
