The Environment and Forestry Ministry claimed that agrosilvofishery can restore damaged peat ecosystem. Environment and Forestry Ministry Research and Development Agency (BP2LHK) Palembang Chapter researcher Bastoni said that agrosilvofishery is the most suitable scheme for household’s farming. He said that the agency has conducted several studies on peatland restoration. The research was claimed successful in integrating rewetting, revegation, and revitalization (3R) strategy through agrosilvofishery scheme.
