The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) stated that 1,734,755 hectares of Indonesia’s oil palm plantations have obtained the RSPO certificate as of June 2018. Of the total certified areas, 1,317,193 hectares are productive plantations. The figures reflected an increase from 1,688,132 hectares certified by the end of 2017, including productive areas of 1,302,352 hectares.
